I have been trying to reassure her and we have gone over all of those things....the one thing she is stuck on is the fact that if we do uncover some evidence it would "freak" her out (as she puts it).

Since they believe it is my uncle, my mom and I went over one night and she firmly requested that he leave them alone and though he may not mean it, he is frightening the little guy. It has been a month since and no reports of any activity. Hopefully it worked.

i'd definitely wanna know especially if this "spirit" is affecting my child.
have you tried explaining that most spirits are not harmful and if she wishes
there are ways (like sage) to rid herself of these energies if unwanted?
what is her worst fear regarding this spirit's presence?  pls. try to reassure her.

You guys have posted some great ones and I agree. I like the Exorcist, Ju-On (The Grudge) and Ring-u (The Ring) also, Poltergeist is a fantastic film.

Same here seth...but i am having trouble finding others besides myself and husband who are interested in this...so until I can get it up and running I am doing smaller travel related investigations and writing about them. Just got the approval to do a second book about the East Coast...so I will be getting busy with investigation for the two now.

I have seen the first one a few times and have read reviews that it was faked, but I do not know how, not very technical when it comes to the faking of videos. So I am still undecided on this one.

The second one has be wondering why we cannot see the bottom of the door that seems to open a bit and the item tossed came from the shadows. Could be real, but I cannot give a judgement on this one because there are too many questions. Also i had just moved into a house and was afraid something was in with me, I woul have some sort of reaction if something was thrown at me. It looked like he just stood there, expecting it.
