Hi everyone!

We are planning a trip to Tampa at the end of the month, after ghost hunting in South Florida, and I would like some input.

We are already planning on going on the Ghost Tour that leaves from John's Pass, but I was wondering if there are any other suggestions you all may have while there. Also, if you know of any public hot spots I would love input for that as well.

Thank you all for your help in advance and I will share any evidence I gather while there.

You'll be in my neck of the woods! I live in Tampa. The only place that I know is free is called Myrtle Hill Cemetery. It's perfectly legal to be there at night, and I peronally have heard things and seen things ranging from evps in the broad day light to audible voices at night, to seeing a full bodied apparition walking down the road. The only thing is that it's not in the 'safest' of areas, transients & riff raff like to hang out there from time to time. Easy to hide with all of the old crypts. I stick to the open fields, I stay next to my car, and I never go alone. It's worth it! I've gotten some amazing evidence and had some amazing experiences there.
There is an Ybor City ghost tour, they charge too much if you ask me. I've never been on it.
There are also places you can rent for the night to investigate like The Cuban Club, featured on Ghost Hunters. But they now charge $140 a night! Crazy.

Thank you for the suggestions.....We are planning on Ybor City for later this year, not sure what we will do, but I have heard there is a hotel that is reportedly haunted that we want to stay at.
